2007 Lexus LS 460
Look out, S-Class. And A8 and 7 Series, while we're at it-there's a new luxotank in town. Lexus president and CEO Jim Press says the LS 460 will come in long- and short-wheelbase versions, with a 4.6-liter V8 developing 380 hp and 370 lb-ft mated to an eight-speed (yes, eight) automatic transmission. The car will meet ULEV II emission levels. And of course there are gadgets galore, including a climate control system that measures not just cabin temperature, but your body temperature, too. The hybrid version will be shown in April at the New York auto show.
