Видове автомобилни стъкла и каква им е целта:
Basic automotive glass
1) Laminated glass:
Glass that provides safety and has crime prevention properties, consisting of a film laminated between two pieces of glass, which reduces scattering of fragments in the event of breakage, and makes it hard to penetrate
2) Tempered glass:
Glass that provides safety and has strength which is increased by heating the glass and then suddenly cooling it. In the event of any breakage, the fragments are granular
Value-added automotive glass
1) UV cut glass:
Glass that cuts UV rays by over 90%, while protecting passengers from sunburn and interior materials from deterioration
2) IR and UV cut glass:
Heat insulating, two-sheet laminated glass with radio wave permeability that dramatically cuts middle infrared, the most irritating wavelength, by sandwiching a special film between two pieces of glass. Heat insulating glass reflects mainly infrared rays using a special film coating on the inner surfaces of laminated glass
3) Privacy glass:
Glass with high heat insulation that ensures privacy by adding a colorant to the glass
4) Water repellent glass:
Glass with a fluorinated coating that provides high water repellency and durability to improve visibility in wet weather
5) Glass antennae:
Automotive antenna moulded into a single glass unit by conductive ink printing
6) Module windows:
Glass with resins around the glass moulded in a single unit
7) Laminated door glass:
Glass with resins around the glass moulded in a single unit for better crime prevention and sound insulation properties
8) Sound insulation glass:
Glass which helps driving a more silent experience by further increasing sound insulating properties in laminated glass
9) Heated windshields:
Windshield glass with snow- and ice-melting functionality due to heat-generating conductive ink moulded into the glass
10) Electrically heated anti-fogging glass:
Rear glass with heat-generating conductive ink moulded into the glass with a current that prevents fogging
11) Head-up display glass:
Windshields that are able to display drive information
Речник:
Backlite – means the rear window of a vehicle, whether composed of glass or some other transparent or translucent material.
Deletion windows – are areas on a vehicle’s glazing specifically designed to facilitate transmission of electromagnetic signals into and out of the vehicle.
Direct solar reflectance (RDS) – means the ratio of reflected solar flux to the incident solar flux, i.e., the ratio of the solar energy that is reflected outward by a paint or glazing system to the amount of solar energy impacting the paint or glazing system, usually expressed as a percentage. RDS includes ultraviolet, visible and infrared reflectance.
Glazing – means all transparent or translucent portions of the vehicle body designed to allow occupants to see outside of the vehicle or others to see in, whether made of glass or some other material.
Infrared reflectance – means the ratio of infrared solar energy which is reflected outward by the glazing system to the amount of infrared solar energy impacting the glazing system, usually expressed as a percent. The infrared wavelengths are considered to be those falling between 780-2500 nanometres (nm).
Privacy glass – is glazing that is rear of the B-pillar in a vehicle that has less than 70 per cent visible light transmittance.
Rooflite – means all transparent or translucent materials, whether fixed or not, on the top surface, or roof, of a vehicle.
Sidelites – means all windows, whether fixed or not, on the sides of the vehicle, composed of glass or any other transparent or translucent material.
Solar absorptance – means the amount of solar energy that is absorbed by the glazing system, expressed as per cent.
Total solar transmittance – means the ratio of the transmitted solar flux to the incident solar flux, i.e., the ratio of the amount of solar energy that passes through the glazing (including energy absorbed and subsequently re-radiated to the interior) to the amount of solar energy falling on the glazing, usually expressed as a percentage.
Vision glass – is glazing that meets a minimum 70 per cent visible light transmittance.
